What’s up!

I’ve been absent here for ages and I noticed how depressing my previous posts were. Some things never change and instead of dwelling on them, I’d rather blog about the things that have happened for these past few days. I’ve been so busy with work that I forgot about blogging my experiences.

For the past few days, I did a lot of catching up with my old friends:

Met with my friends from Healthway.

Went out with my workmates and had a Despidida party for our Trainer from India.

Image

Had a nice dinner and a fun time at the cafe with my EPI friends. Thank God for having friends who would wait for you after work. =)

Image

Watched the Pyromusical for the first time with my Cousins. It’s also the first time that we went out. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen them. One of those really rare event.

Image

And lastly, we had a Pre birthday celebration for Chucky. Her treat! hehe =)

Looking at these photos, makes me realize that a lot had happened and I didn’t even noticed it. It’s good to know that atleast I had fun times, away from all those stress from work and my family. Thank you Lord. =)

KTV Sunday

After 1 month of planning, finally we were able to get together and spend some time to update each other, especially regarding their work. It’s been 3 weeks since I left my job there and it’s so good to know that they miss me and still think about me.

They’re still bragging about their work and how the management handles the clinic, I feel really relieved that I made a good decision to leave that job. I keep hearing, negative and   awful things that they are experiencing and I can’t help but remember and feel my past experiences on that place.

I miss them so much and I miss singing too (a frustrated singer here!), so we decided to go to a KTV bar just near Robinsons.

Food fight in my mind

Image

Don’t get me wrong! =)

Lately, I’ve been eating a lot. I eat when I’m hungry and I eat even more when I’m not hungry. Whenever I’m stressed I eat and when I’m hungry I get really grumpy and snob.

Since, I been staying all day in our house, I tend to open the fridge like every 5 minutes or so, thinking that there’s plenty of food inside when in reality we have none! =)

I’ll let you inside my mind and see the foods that I’ve been craving for these past few days.

Image

Of course, when it comes to french fries, who wouldn’t want Mcdonald’s?

Image

If there’s few things that I’m good at, one of them is making pancakes! I just love the fluffiness of it!

Image

Image

I love pasta! So lasagna and baked macs are on my priority list! Spaghetti and Carbonara are also next to them.

Image

Everybody loves Burgers but I love Hotdog sandwiches more. Look at those! =)

Image

I eat any kind of pizza, I’m not very particular about that. Thin or thick crust. I prefer both!

Image

It’s rainy season here and I have coughs and colds but I’m still craving for this! Oh noess! =)

Image

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten M&Ms =(

Image

The only authentic Asian food on my mind right now. Gimme some Maki! =))

Image

I’ve eaten these last week but I still want some more!

Image

And lastly, chocolate cake! You can tell by now, that I have a thing for sweets!

Photos are grabbed here.

It’s not bad to give in to these kinds of foods every now and then, but we should always be mindful that these foods can be harmful if consumed on a daily basis and on a large amount!

Happy eating! =)

Milk tea time

Here in the Philippines, Milk tea is becoming a real trend. You can see new Milk tea stalls and franchises everywhere. They are like mushrooms that sprout anywhere! And since Kae is not really a big fan. I asked her to try it for the first time. I’m not a fan either but once I liked the flavor, I will always crave for it no matter what. (I can still remember the taste of that Kuching 3 layer tea!)

Anyway, we dropped by Top tea! It’s also my first time trying that franchise and I must say that it’s really good.

The ambiance is also good. Image

We ordered Sweet Caramel Milk Tea and the very Popular Wintermelon Milk tea

ImageObviously, the spelling of Kae’s name  is incorrect. hehe

Oh!! by the way,I love Kae’s choker! Planning to buy one for myself next time!

Another, Fun-tastic bonding! =)

A little Saturday night special

Everything was unplanned. It was Saturday Morning when they texted me that they wanted to watch a movie. But, everything changed because we did not find any good movie to watch. So, instead we just ate out and decided to drink since we’re all having some problems and issues in life! haha. Unfortunately, Teddy, our friend left early and he doesn’t want to drink. Actually, it’s our first time to drink, we are friends for almost 13 years now and we’ve never tried drinking together, we tried but it was not this heavy that we need to stay up all morning. Body ache, Bowel problem and Sore throat, but no regrets. =)

And, I was not expecting it but Biggy showed up and saved my day! He was worried because I’m not really used to drinking too much. I love you!

Everything was all about catching up with each other, we also made plans about our future group getaways and we talked about our careers, goals, problems and as well as reminiscing all over again our High school days! One thing I can say about them, they know me well, they know everything about me, my family, my sisters feud, where I live, my skills and capacities, my quirkiness and everything that bothers me.  It was one of those times, that again, you realize how life is so perfect with your friends beside you. We don’t usually see each other but everytime that we do, there’s always a huge smile on my face.

The friends who grew up with you deserve a special respect. The ones who stuck by you shoulder to shoulder, in a time where nothing was certain, all life lay ahead, and every road led home.

Belt them over the head

Back when I was in grade school and highschool, I never wore any kind of headband or head dresses. That time my hair was really like a mophead, so I think, even headbands can’t help me.

But, when my hair grew longer and I started straightening them I also started wearing headbands and bows. And since I know how to sew, I always make my own kinds of headband and turbans and I even planned on selling them. However, I did not push it through. I just make them for personal use.

Animal print head band

Polkadot print headband

All of these are garterized headband.

But this one is easier to make,

You’re just going to cut your garment and  be sure to make it  long (so that you can tie both ends) and sleek, then sew the sides.

Viola! Personalized Headbands. =)
